A photographic series about the scary, folkloristic figure of the Masca, a mysterious witch from Piedmont, North of Italy. Each photo has been taken with a Sony DSC-RX10 camera and has been manipulated to recreate the atmosphere typical of dark tales and legends. The purpose of this photo project was to bring this folklore back to life, as it is slowly disappearing among popular culture.
